Expanded Functions Registered Dental Assistant
Job Description Restorative Procedures: Perform expanded functions duties including placing, contouring, and finishing direct restorations (composite and amalgam) and adjusting occlusion.
Prosthodontics: Pack retraction cord, take final impressions for crowns, bridges, and removable prosthetics, and fit/adjust trial and permanent restorations.
Surgical Assistance: Assist the doctor during complex surgical procedures, including implant placements, bone grafts, and extractions.
Digital Workflow: Utilize Trios scanners for digital impressions and manage CT scan imaging for diagnostic planning.
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative instructions and manage patient comfort during extensive procedures.
Sterilization & Compliance: Oversee the preparation and sterilization of instruments and operatories, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA and infection control protocols.
Records: maintain detailed and accurate patient clinical notes in Eaglesoft.
full-time $35 - $45 per hour

Licensure: Current Expanded Functions Registered Dental Assistant (RDAEF) license.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a surgical or restorative setting.
Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification.
Skills: Proficiency in packing cord and taking final impressions.
Demeanor: Professional, reliable, and able to work independently on assigned procedures.
Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software.
Experience using digital scanning technology (e.g., Trios).
Background in implant dentistry.
